Homeless uprooted in Tampa

The St. Petersburg Times reports on the closing of a downtown Tampa park, displacing homeless people who used to spread out cardboard and sleep undisturbed beneath sprays of palm fronds.

The park was closed to make room for the construction of a condominium high-rise which will include $695,000 units.
