Outsmarted?
Just got home from a walk in the rain in my neighborhood park ... Despite the new Orlando ordinance, Food Not Bombs fed a group of homeless people this evening.At the regular meeting spot in Lake Eola Park, members of the group handed out plates and instructions on where to find a van where the food was being handed out. The van was not, of course, in the park so no food was being distributed in the park.
The ordinance bans organizations from feeding the homeless at public parks downtown without a permit, and each group is limited to two per park per year.

It's good to hear that the groups feeding the homeless are going to ignore the ordinance. It's a stupid law.
And I'm glad that they took the outsmarting-them route, instead of directly defying the ordinance. The city looks even sillier this way.
