The "fistfight" was staged
The one fight that grabbed all the headlines at the neo-Nazi rally may not have been real after all, Orlando police are saying today.Many people feared violence when the Nazis marched through the Parramore neighborhood on Saturday and the fistfight before the rally seemed to confirm their worries.
Police now say they think the two men involved were actually friends, and staged a mock fight. "That can happen at these types of things where an organized counter-demonstrator group comes in, and their goal is also to stir trouble," said Sergeant Barbara Jones.
