“This is not the life I ordered”

He lasted less than 36 hours on the streets of Las Vegas before he was -- in his own words -- at death’s door and crying to mammy and pappy for help.

A healthy 31-year-old in good shape, he went to Las Vegas with the intention of investigating the city’s homelessness crisis from a first-hand perspective. He was going to live on the streets for two weeks, with no money in his pocket and utilizing only the resources available to the homeless.

That's not quite how it worked out.
