This may change your perceptions

One of the recurring themes of this blog is the misperception of homeless people, and one of the constant challenges that my students and I face is how to change it.

A regular working guy who has found himself homeless speaks eloquently of his experiences in the blog View from the Sidewalk. Check it out. If you think of homeless people as hopeless alcoholics who have chosen to live on the street, this just might change your mind.

Read a Greensboro News-Record article about the author, Michael Brown, here.

Update: When I clicked on the link to make sure it worked, I discovered that today's post, entitled "Perceptions," discusses his concerns about whether he looks homeless.

I have been looking for love advice column articles such as http://single-dating-service.org and I found this blog. It's really nice.
