in homeless beating

Two 10-year-olds accused of beating a homeless man and smashing a concrete block into his face are now saying the man struck at them first.

A judge denied a request to release them to their guardians and decided to hold them in custody until trial later this month. The boys entered not-guilty pleas.

Update: The Orlando Sentinel has a lot more details on the boys' self-defense claim.
