"Just to have fun," teen shoots
homeless man with paint balls

A 19-year-old arrested for allegedly shooting a homeless man in Broward County with paint balls told police he did it "just to have fun," according to the police report.

Julio Lara now faces charges with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.

Gordon R. Parks, 37, told deputies he was riding his bike when two young men in a pickup truck shot at him with a paint-ball gun. Parks told deputies he "was in great fear for his life and that he truly believed that he was being shot by a real gun."
