A thought for July 4

Photo taken by Margaret Bourke-White in 1951

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
Just wanted to remind everyone that Statue of Liberty -- which represents liberty and escape from oppression -- welcomes the homeless, too.
